They're Baaaaack
Back packs are back and students are definitely taking advantage of the change. Girls can freely carry their stylish bags and purses--which we all know are much bigger than an 8 1/2 X 11 piece of paper this season. There are plenty of boys carrying backpacks as well. "It is so much more convenient [to have a backpack] in a school this size," said a sophomore. "My locker is in G wing and all of my classes are in the pods." So aside from the few teachers who may find themselves tripping over them more often, the general concensus is that most of us welcome the return of the backpack!
